Mick Goodwin – Managing Director

Mick’s experience in the I.T. industry dates back to 1992. Mick previously worked for Telstra, Swiss Banking Corporation, Rothschild Australia, MTG Consulting (Midas Technology Group) and Absolute Business Systems. Fuelled by a desire to provide his clients with the highest level of customer service possible, he and his wife Julie, began Loyal I.T. Solutions in 2002 from his lounge room.

Mick has a young family (3 boys) on the Central Coast and his interests include basketball, guitar, travelling, cheering on the Wests Tigers and relaxing with family and friends.

Julie Goodwin – Director

Julie’s involvement with the day to day running of the business has ceased since becoming Australia’s first Masterchef. Julie remains a business owner and is responsible for Loyal I.T. Solutions marketing and team building events.

Julie enjoys cooking, reading, travelling and music.

Michael Trimblett – General Manager

Michael recently graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology majoring in internetworking earning a distinction average, a place on the Dean’s list and enlistment in the Golden Key Society for his efforts. Michael is a Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Professional and is a member of the Australian Computer Society.

His energy and positive attitude, along with a strong customer service focus have made him a respected and valuable part of the Loyal team.

Michael provides excellent I.T. industry knowledge in the dental and specialist medical fields and provides great support for these clients.

Michael enjoys playing poker, soccer and is a sports nut madly following the Central Coast Mariners and the Cronulla Sharks.

Brendan Cairns – I.T. Consultant

Brendan’s passion for I.T. started at an early age and he studied I.T. all through high school. His I.T. career started with Acer Technical Support and then moved into their Project Management team. He then went into a Technical Consultant role for Working Technology in the Sydney CBD and from there, into an internal I.T. role for Ramax Electrical Wholesalers before joining the Loyal team.

Brendan enjoys music and is the self-crowned singstar champion. He also enjoys technology, getting outdoors and catching up with friends.

Leon Black – I.T. Consultant

Leon’s I.T. career started with Microsoft Technical support. From there he expanded to Colgate internal I.T. support, Komatsu internal support, and then on to supporting Suncorp Metway internally before joining the Loyal team.

Leon is like a dog with a bone with a problem and is well known for his natural ability with all things technical. This benefits clients and our team alike.

Leon’s interests include cars and extreme sports including rally driving, tarmac racing, skydiving and snowboarding.

Adam Gidley-King – I.T. Consultant

Adam Gidley-King is a valued member of the Loyal I.T. team. Adam joined us from Dell (Unisys) where he worked as an I.T. Tech.

Adam enjoys travel and is a keen surfer, usually starting his day with a wave or three. He also enjoys throwing in a line, reading and getting his hands dirty with computers. Adam is a fitness fanatic having won the junior and senior iron man title for 3 years with North Avoca surf club.

Tim Johnson – I.T. Consultant

Tim has over 10 years in the I.T. Industry; he is both Microsoft and Cisco certified. Tim’s positive outlook and easy going approach have served him very well throughout his career.

Tim has a love for all things technical – he gets excited by VPN Connections and Group Policy! Recently Tim has worked on the coast looking after various schools, both Primary and High schools.  Before this Tim had worked in various other companies gaining valuable experience across all facets of the I.T. Industry.

Tim has two passions outside of work, he is very much a family man and loves spending time with his kids. The other place you might find him is behind the guitar and microphone of a very popular ’70s supergroup tribute act, however you will have to look very hard to recognise him.

Adam Moss – I.T. Consultant

Adam has over 7 years’ experience working in the IT Industry and 10 years total experience with computer repairs/support, working in various roles that included IT Support Roles & Network and Systems Administration. Previous roles have been in Newcastle for the past 2 years, also worked in Sydney on the Northern Beaches as an I.T. Support Technician for 4 years.

Adam’s experience includes working with Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, Server Operating Systems, support of Business Critical Applications and a broad array of Network/PC/Server Hardware.  Adam’s credentials include a Diploma of Network Engineering from Ourimbah TAFE, Business Administration Certification, Microsoft MCP and HSC.

Adam is a very friendly, easy-going and fun person who enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is engaged and will be married in 2013.  Adam is a sports fanatic, following the Cronulla Sharks in the NRL, Central Coast Mariners in the A-League and other sports including Cricket and Ten-Pin Bowling.

Todd White – Level 2 I.T. Consultant

Todd’s background is in consumer I.T. support, with a specialty in virus removal and apple products. Todd displays a persistent, never give up attitude to any issue he encounters.

In his spare time he enjoys riding his motorcycle, competition karaoke, special effects design and laser tag.

Ben Ison – Level 1 & Help Desk Support

Ben is your first step on the road with Loyal I.T. support.

Ben is fresh out of TAFE; he has recently completed his diploma in Network Administration.  Over the past couple of years Ben has participated in work experience for a number of IT companies on the coast including Computer Networks.

Outside of work Ben enjoys spending time with friends and family, snowboarding, being active and fixing PC’s.

Jamie Goodwin – I.T. Trainee

For many years prior to joining the Loyal team, Jamie worked out of his home office with his father building and fixing computers. Jamie has completed his Certificate II and III in I.T. He is currently studying his Diploma in I.T.

Jamie enjoys riding motorbikes, playing video games and spending time with family and friends at BBQ’s.

Tracey Gear – Sales & Marketing Assistant

Tracey comes to Loyal I.T with a minimum of 10years experience within the I.T industry. Her roles have varied from Sales Administration to an Account Managers role. Working with Retail, Commercial, Corporate and Government clients,

Tracey has a wide knowledge of “Customer Service” and the expectations that are required for Customer Satisfaction. Tracey is a Qualified Internal Auditor and is proficient in Quality Assurance.

Tracey enjoys keeping fit, a 7 day a week gym junkie, with 2 personal trainers, she loves the beach and being outdoors.

Naomi McCahon – Receptionist

Naomi is the bubbly voice that welcomes you and puts you at easy whenever you call Loyal I.T.  Naomi also doubles as our administrative support person, and loves keeping all the techs in order. Naomi’s temperament is calm and pleasant but her personality is full of vibrancy and enthusiasm, her positive attitude along with her big smile makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.

Naomi was a qualified Hairdresser and Nail Technician employed in the industry for the last 14years. After completing certificate 4 in small Business Management she worked for herself as a sub-contractor for a successful salon on the Northern Beaches, Sydney. She decided to have a new and exciting career change as she felt like she had reached fulfilment and had satisfied her professional goals.

Naomi likes waking at 4 in the morning, she is obsessed with the colour black, and loves all things dark especially when she has a paint brush in her hand renovating her house or re-vamping furniture.

Hayley Birch – Bookkeeper

Hayley is Loyal I.T.’s bookkeeper. She has great attention to detail, will put forth a tremendous effort in her drive to produce results. She has a direct, straight forward approach to most situations. Hayley obtained a Diploma in Accounting in 2010.

She has a passion for making musical instruments specialising in harps. Her other leisure activities include – snow skiing, walking along the beach, sewing, gardening and woodwork.
